The sweet taste of phosphoric acid...

Some benefits to usage of phosphates - they soften our water and produce an overgrowth of algae stripping oxygen so plants and animals in our water system can ultimately die. Phosphoric acid is also found in everyones favorite soft drink, Coca-Cola.  Hypothetically speaking, if you were to "lose a tooth," and place it in a glass of Coke within a few days your keratin made tooth would have completely dissolved!  That is because phosphates are extremely harmful to both our water systems and our bodies.

Sure, most states have banned the sale of products containing phosphates  (which are most commonly found in toilet bowl cleaners and dish washer detergent), but the fact of the matter is that there are many internet sites still selling these products.  Bubble Bandit is one of these products that is readily found via the internet and easily purchased on their website, eBay or Amazon.  Now that we know about the determent of the use of these products, it is important that as consumers we take the time to educate ourselves on the changes we can make to improve the use of our cleaners.
