As we all know, accidents do happen but what can we do to make Portland transportation a little more safer? According to Craig Beebe, the Metro is updating The Regional Transportation Plan and the Regional Safety Strategy. This will recommend actions that the government should take in order to lower deaths and accidents in the Portland region regarding their transportation systems.

Portland Transportation Safety
Transportation safety in Portland has been an important topic for while. Accidents, injuries, and crimes happen on these transportation systems; whether it's on the MAX, walking, riding a bike, or in a car. In 2016, theres was over a dozen deaths caused by an accident involving one or more of these transportation systems. With the population of people increasing by the day, there are a ton of more cars flooding the Portland Region.
