Getting to Know the Electric Car

So there you are, wondering what an electric car looks like. You’ve thought about the environment. You’ve thought about extending your boundaries and exploring an alternate mode of transportation. You even have the disposable income to possibly even invest in one. But then comes the $87,000 dollar question. Would I want to drive this? Would a 16 year old want to drive this?

Would they, throwing away all pride, wrap themselves around their parents’ legs, begging? Would they storm their bosses office demanding to be given extra duties befitting their capacity as a model employee (and a raise)? Would they invade every home with an untended lawn, scraping every penny, nickel, and dime-anything goes, a relentless pursuit which accepts no defeat, scoffs no opportunity, always on the lookout for that one-step-nearer-the-goal?

In short, would they want your car? Of course, it isn’t really yours—yet. But would they?

Sure it’s good for the environment—and some chicks will dig that. If you’re a guy, can you hold out any hope, that this will be anything other than a sacrifice? Can your car look good, can it be cool? Can it make you look good?

Women, will it be possible to escape having to play the sacrificial martyr, unable to coordinate or accessorize any possible solution, having years of skillful self education in a variety of arts neutralized, and, as you emerge, hearing the cries of (obviously shallow) people exclaim in wonder and astonishment at whatever calamity must have befallen you, for what other reason would such a well dressed lady emerge from something like THAT? Is it possible that an alternate end awaits you besides an inevitable and final resignation to wearing oversize jogging pants and sweats in order to cease the endless well intended questions of concern?

Yes indeed it is possible—there is hope. That a teenager will want your car, that it will make you look cool, that it will make you look good. There is a new fleet of cars in 2011. Check out their “specs” and be relieved

After you’ve successfully driven off the lot victoriously, take a moment to remember the warriors that came before you. And remember the fallen. To see the previous models of electric car and what your predecessors had to deal with, check out the following link—especially #4 toward the bottom. Those guys didn’t make it.

  1. It's not so far, we can find only electric and hybrid cars on road. To consume some fuel for the future and to reduce the environmental pollution, electric cars come to play in the market. Though these are having a little higher initial cost but it is reasonable to its features. Thanks for adding little about the electric cars. Keep sharing. Hybrid Electric Vehicle Service Marin, CA.
