"Million Fish Die Off" 2011 California

Life on earth cannot survive without oxygen this is true even for fish. Water has a set amount of oxygen, if this level drops; then there is no way the fish can filter out the oxygen thru there gills. This then courses the fish to suffocate to death. One example of this can be seen in 2011 on Redondo Beach marina in California. Millions of sardines died due to a dead zone. The water did not circulate in the marina and all the biomass created by the influx of fish spiked the CO2 level in the water.  This in turn created a mass die off of fish because of the dead zone created by the biomass.
