Houselessness, Mental Health Conditions, and Drug Abuse, Is There a Correlation?

There will be a link for a survey at the end of this post, if you can please take it!

In the United States, hundreds of thousands of individuals endure houselessness each year and millions of people suffer from mental health conditions or substance abuse. All three of these issues deserve to be properly addressed so that the impacted individuals can hopefully reach peace. Each of these issues can make a person feel isolated and alone which can have a negative impact on someone's livelihood. In Portland, the number of people impacted by either houselessness, mental illnesses, or drug abuse is high, Portland is ranked second-highest in the country for houselessness, and Oregon is ranked one of the worst states for substance abuse and prevalence of mental illnesses. The mission of this survey is to determine how people view these three topics, what they know about them, and if they believe there is any correlation between them.
