Water Quality

Everyone knows that water is beneficial to your health but it can also lead to health risks. The reasons behind the health risks are contaminated water and non-safe drinking water. It is hard to tell if your water is contaminated because well it is clear and you can’t smell it. Usually contaminants cannot be detected by our own human senses but you can get a professional to perform a water analysis. It is better to get this done sooner than later because it might take years before you get sick. An example of an acute health risk is weakening the immune system. Some examples of health risks that are chronic are cancer, kidney problems, and reproductive difficulties. Some common contaminants include: ammonia, barium, copper, and uranium.
