Oregon Green Development

Oregon Green Development

In todays society the biggest most common thing in multnomah county Is lack of shelter for the homeless, so one thing that compensates that are tents. Tents are everywhere giving very little lack of dry space, making them have to create unsanitary ways to stay dry or create certain ways for warmth. I have never seen any type of organized camps or as well as any dry spaces specialized for them. To have any type of help in regard's of a fighting chance to survive, with common human necessities that involve living in a non dehumanized space. I feel we as such people will have multiple ways to come up with some source of eco-friendly spaces that provide the things that they need, which would include warmth, a dry space, and a roof provided over there head.

In reality what are some ways that we can make homeless camps accustom to the environment as much as the homeless in need to where it is affordable for the homeless. Poverty and drug use is very common in the homeless community,  so instead of them using their money towards drugs it gives them a chance to use the money towards a stable warm place to sleep in a safer and eco friendly environment. With these proceeds that are given, it should be priority to use them in a positive manner to help spread and make this movement bigger creating more spaces like this available to the homeless community as well as affordable in an organized program for them.

So what can we do to make a green environment for the homeless at a affordable rate?

Misunderstood concepts:  https://borgenproject.org/5-misconceptions-about-homelessness/

1. "People are homeless because of drugs"

2. "Homeless people should just find a job"

3. " There are enough services to help them"
