California Sets Alternative Energy Benchmark by 2020


California's governor is setting high hopes for energy consumption by the year 2020, in which 33% of all energy used in the State will come for renewable sources. The increasing rise in energy cost has fueled the development of greater hopes for renewable energy. The last time California's governor was in office during the '70s he attempted a similar bill but was ridiculed as oil prices weren't nearly what they are today. The hope is that as more States take California's lead, renewable energy startup costs will decline.
