  Do you live in Portland and want to keep the city clean, beautiful, and lively? Great, because we want to help! Below we’ve assembled four amazing resources for volunteering in the Portland area. There is no ranking or special preference here, we just want to make volunteering as easy and accessible as possible. So let’s get started!


   Willamette Week Volunteer Guide: Willamette Week is considered an alternative weekly newspaper that has been published in Portland since 1974. Visit their volunteer guide for some fresh ideas!

   Volunteer Match is an amazing website that helps people locate volunteer opportunities according to their passions. Portland not enough? You can use Volunteer Match to find opportunities all over the world!

   Oregon Food Bank is no stranger to the City of Portland! They have been serving Portland and Beaverton since 1988. They have a volunteer calendar on their website, all efforts are 2-3 hours in length and do not require a regular commitment.

   Hands on Portland is dedicated to finding somebody that needs your help. Use their calendar even if you only have a few hours available, they even partner often with Oregon Food Bank!
