With the water crisis growing large, we tend to only think of the worst outcomes. We forget that any crisis can be dealt with and 'fixed' in some sense, with the help of the community. Lets take the Rotarians in Colorado and Nicaragua as an example. By joining forces, they were able to place clear water filters in 261 homes that were located in the rural mountains. 261 might seem like a small number when compared to the big number of people with no clean water. However, that is still 261 homes with children able to drink clean water and avoid illness's and contamination like many other current places. The Rotarians are a great example of the big accomplishments that can occur when working together for a great cause-The Water Crisis!
