If it can happen in the Lebanon, Indiana it can happen here

Being aware of the water crisis is one thing but being able to do something about it is something completely different.  There are so many various things one can do to help a community facing the water crisis.  For example, some high school students in Lebanon, Indiana who are attending Lebanon High School, raised eight thousand dollars in regards to the water issues in Africa.  If there are people, high school students living in other states, helping with the water crisis at hand, I am fairly sure that the Portland community or any other community can do the same-if not more!

Doing something as simple as setting up lemonade stands, bake sales, car washes and so forth would start something wonderful. It would raise money and awareness for the water crisis; the water crisis that is happening all around the world as we know it.

Let us follow in these footsteps and give back to our community, and to the people that are in desperate need of clean water-something many of us take for granted.
