It's time for an improvement of the US healthcare system

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the US health system currently ranks 37th among rich countries. Compared to other countries, patients in the United States are at higher risk of being mistaken for drugs, slower or wrong test results. Every year, about 200,000 people die from negligence in hospitals. In addition, spending on the US healthcare system is 3.5 trillion, or 18 percent of GDP, on health expenditures – more than twice the average among developed countries. However, if in these countries the health system takes care of all the people, then it does not in America. The National Health Care Association (NCHC) in Washington DC said an American hospital bill averaged no less than $ 6,280, more than twice that of other Western countries.

Developed countries have pursued and followed the standard of "a civilized and prosperous society that anyone who is ill can be examined by a doctor", so far the United States has not made basic commitments. most about health care for people. According to the American Institute of Medicine, about 18,000 people in the country die each year, simply because they do not have access to the most basic health care system that has the potential to save them.

A major barrier for many people to get medical care is health insurance. About one third of the USA's population do not have or have inadequate health insurance, so they do not go to the doctor or take medicine because the cost is too expensive. With insurance policies ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars a month, Americans have to come to poorer countries like Canada, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Columbia, and Uruguay to get a cheaper medical care.

The main key to solve these problems of the current healthcare system is the government's policies which can give low and middle income people accession to medical care. Moreover, The individual insurance marketplaces need to be stabilized to ensure that low- and moderate-income patients are able to secure affordable and adequate coverage.
