Portland After Dark

From an outsiders perspective, Portland is a beautiful city with lots of greenery, gorgeous buildings, affordable pubic transportation and acceptable for all individuals.
But for the individuals who live and have grown up in the city, Portland is a dangerous town with the amount of homeless, crime rates, human trafficking, and the violent protests. In fact, Portland is the third most dangerous city in Oregon.

  •  5.2 violent crimes per 1,000 people
  • 56.8 property crimes per 1,000
  • 4,177 homelessness in Multnomah County

Not only are there many violent crimes and the homeless living in the streets, Portland has become a center for human trafficking. The city of Portland, out of all 50 states is one of the top sex trafficking cities in the Nation, coming in at number two. State police reports having to encounter three to five trafficking victims a week. Seven underage girls have recently just been picked up from being involved in prostitution in Portland, along with 6 adult pimps and 14 adult prostitutes.

How can we make a stop to the violence and Portland become beautiful and more safe again?

  • Donating to charitable causes can make a huge differences with the homeless, human trafficking victims, and much more.
  • The city of Portland needs your help, what are you going to do to make a change?
