The Associationof Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals annual conference is going to take
place in Portland next week which will bring together expert’s countries topmost
leading experts on bicycling and walking planners. APBP delivers “expertise,
information, and inspiration for their 1,200 members”. The sum up of 200
speakers across the nation will attend this annual conference which will also include
17 Portland Bureau of Transportation staffers. This conference is going to run
for three days with a long list of events, such as keynotes, mobile tours,
panels, and more. Amidst of the “Green Loop” edition of Sunday Parkways, this
even will kick off on Sunday August 25th by walking and biking tours.
The topics that are going to be discussed in this five day event includes “racial equity,
the psychology of cycling, to signal timing and the future of micro mobility”.
