For some people, DIY (do-it-yourself) projects are not ideal. Perhaps you don't have the time. Perhaps you simply don't want to put in the effort. However, perhaps even after all this you are still interested in the concept of upcycling for items that are unique, one of a kind and also help the world we all share together. When that happens, there are companies that can help offer the service of upcycling without the work of DIY.

Created in Long Beach, California, by mother and daughter duo Liz Bordessa and Christina Johnson, Upcycle It Now is a company whose mission is to "promote local jobs, to create a second life for used materials, and make beautiful and useful products". The company believes in making sustainable products that are of quality, in an effort to reduce, reuse, and upcycle materials that can no longer be used. They sell their products both on their online shop Upcycleitnow as well as by their partners they work with. On their online shop, they currently have a variety of wallets, dog coats, lunch bags, and shopping totes.

Their concept of upcycling is simple and illustrated in the following picture.
